What is Unity in The Church?

    Practical living of Unity - 

John 13:35-35

    a. A new commandment I give you - 

    b. Francis Schaeffer: "Jesus is giving the right to the world to judge if someone is a Christian or not based on how well they love other Christians" - 

John 17:20-23

    a. This passage gives us the reason we are to be unified: so that the lost can see that the Father sent the Son to save them!

    b. Schaeffer: "We cannot expect the world to believe that the Father sent the Son, that Jesus' claims are true, and that Christianity is true, unless the world sees some reality of the oneness of true Christians!"
