North Littleton Promise

North Littleton Promise Fiesta

Mark your calendars now!

The 6th annual North Littleton Promise Fiesta is less than 2 months away! On Friday, October 14 at 6:30pm, join NLP, other partners, community members, church leaders, and friends to celebrate the ways God is at work through North Littleton Promise an hear about ways to give and get involved.

You can register here, and if you have any questions or would like more information about volunteering, hosting a table, or sponsoring a table, email Erica Myeni today!

North Littleton Promise programs will be starting in about a week, and they are still in need of volunteers to help students grow in faith, education, and leadership! If you are passionate about one or all of these areas, email Erica Myeni to find out how you can serve. They are looking for weekly volunteers for their after school programs - Mondays & Wednesdays with middle school students and Tuesdays & Thursdays with elementary school students.

The Life Center

Severe Weather Shelter - Mandatory Training

The training for the Severe Weather Shelter will be held on-site at the Life Center on Saturday, Sept. 17th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. (Returning SWS volunteers come at 11 am). Lunch will be served to all participants. After the training, you can sign up to be on call for one night (or more) for the week each month we’re open.

Spanish and English classes begin at the Life Center on Sept. 7th at 6pm. If you’re interested in learning either language or would like to help teach a class, please contact mfeeney@lifecenterlittleton.org.

GED classes begin on Sept. 15th from 6 pm to 8 pm. The Life Center is launching a new outreach to help people in our community obtain their GED. We need volunteer mentors to help walk alongside and encourage each student pursuing his or her GED. Contact mfeeney@lifecenterlittleton.org with questions.

Senior Connections needs more volunteers on Thursday mornings at the Life Center from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. We need volunteers to serve lunch, interact with the seniors, and facilitate their activities.

Home & Health Food Bank needs additional drivers for the truck to pick up food donations most mornings of the week. We serve over 400 families who are struggling to put food on the table. Driving commitment would be for a couple of hours once a week in the morning.

Learn more and sign up to be part of Transforming Communities Period at LIFECENTERLITTLETON.ORG or contact Mauricio Carbone at mcarbone@missionhills.org or 303.953.7180.
