“Greater love has no man than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.” -Jesus.
Jesus did just that: he laid down his life for us. So now, the best way we can love others is point them to the One who laid down his life in a way that gives us life and gives us hope. Peter calls us to always be ready to give a reason for our hope, but what does that actually mean? How do we do that in the flow of normal life, especially with neighbors who don’t understand why Jesus is the reason for our hope?
Elder Dave Rhodes has been studying this question for years, and has developed a 5-session course so that we can become better formed and equipped as people who give a reason for our hope. Join us from 3-5 every other Sunday, starting June 8th, for this great opportunity.
