The Trust of Jesus (Hebrews 11)

Mike Wright The Trust of Jesus

Summary:

In this extemporaneous sermon, we're taking an unplanned break from our "HIS-tory" Summer Tour of Bible. This week, I (Pastor Mike) found myself forced to trust God in intense (I mean, uncomfortable and scary) ways every day, capped by my wife's admission to the hospital because she began pre-term labor.  I found myself not knowing what to do, powerless to fix anything, and very aware of the fact that I care about the wrong things.  I found that I need Jesus badly. He knows, he is able, and he cares perfectly.

Notes:

Hebrews 11:1 – 12:2

1 Peter 1:17-21
