On Persecution (Acts 12)

Acts 12

In Acts 12, Herod strikes out against the Church by arresting and executing the Apostle James and then arresting Peter. This is overt persecution of the believers and therefore puts the Lord and his people's response to persecution on display.  What an important topic to consider as tension between Biblical Christians and the rest of society is increasing in this country.  What is persecution and how do we respond to it?  The testimony of Acts 12 offers excellent guidance.
